Industrial Chiller for Plant Oil Extraction System

The application of industrial chillers in plant oil extraction systems is mainly to control the temperature during the extraction process. Temperature control is critical during the extraction of plant oils, especially when using solvent extraction methods, because high temperatures may affect the quality of the oil, leading to oxidation, rancidity, or loss of nutrients. Industrial chillers can help maintain a stable low-temperature environment, which is essential for protecting the quality of the oil and ensuring extraction efficiency.

The chiller cools the water in the internal water tank to the required low temperature through its refrigeration system, and then transports the cooled water to the heat exchanger of the plant oil extraction system through the built-in water pump. The cooling water absorbs the heat generated by the extraction system and brings it back to the water tank of the chiller for recooling, forming a closed circulation cooling system. This ensures that the entire extraction process is carried out within an ideal temperature range, avoiding oil degradation caused by excessive temperature.

In addition, chillers can also be used for cooling during the refining process of plant oils, such as in the steps of degumming, deacidification, decolorization, and deodorization, which require precise temperature control to maintain the color, smell, and stability of the oil.
