Treatment Methods for Common System Problems of Air-cooled Chillers
Usually, after a company has used the air-cooled chiller for a long time, it is prone to various failures due to lack of necessary maintenance. Facing the occurrence of failures, enterprises need to conduct detailed inspections of the operating conditions of each component of the equipment in a timely manner, and focus on inspections of the refrigeration system, electrical system, wind system, and water system to determine whether they are normal. 1. Refrigeration system: Check whether there are cracks, damage, frosting and condensation in the pipelines of the refrigeration system of the air-cooled chiller; No contact friction, especially at the welding joints of refrigerant pipelines, whether there is any leakage at the joint joints of air-cooled chillers, but there will be oil stains at the leaking places, and clean soft cloth and soft paper can also be used to wipe the welding joints and joints of the pipelines At the connection, observe whether there is oil pollution to judge whether there is leakage.
2. Electrical system: Check whether the fuse of the electrical system of the air-cooled chiller is blown, whether the insulation of the electrical wires is intact, whether the circuit board is cracked, whether the connection is loose, etc. Especially whether the electrical connection is in good contact, the wiring screws and connectors are easy to loosen and cause poor contact.
3. Ventilation system: Check whether the air filter, heat exchanger coil and fins of the air-cooled chiller have accumulated too much dust; whether the air inlet and outlet are clear; whether the fan and fan blades are working normally; Whether the size is normal, whether the water system is normal, etc.
4. Water system: Check whether the water system of the air-cooled chiller is leaking; whether the water inlet and outlet are unblocked; whether the water pump is working normally. Listen to whether the compressor of the air-cooled chiller is working normally, whether there is any abnormal sound, whether there is any noise in the operation of the fan and water pump, and whether the noise is too loud. When the air-cooled chiller is working, under normal conditions, the vibration is subtle and the noise is small.
In addition to the above inspections of each system, touching the relevant parts of the air-cooled chiller to feel its cold, heat, vibration and other conditions is also helpful for judging the nature and location of the fault. Under normal conditions, the temperature of the condenser gradually decreases from top to bottom, and the temperature of the lower part is slightly higher than the ambient temperature. If the whole condenser is not hot or the upper part is slightly warm, or if it is hot but there is a significant difference in temperature between the upper and lower adjacent pipes, it is abnormal. Under normal conditions, the evaporator will feel cold and sticky if you put a finger dipped in water on the surface of the evaporator. The chiller, dryer, and capillary at the outlet should feel warm under normal conditions. If the temperature is lower than the ambient temperature, or there is dew condensation on the surface, and there is a temperature difference between each section of the capillary, it is abnormal.
