Then, the high-temperature and high-pressure gas passes through the condenser, transferring the heat in it to the cooling water, raising its temperature and cooling the refrigerant to a liquid state.

When the refrigerant is in liquid state, the flow is controlled by the expansion valve and enters the evaporator, whereupon evaporation occurs. During the evaporation process, the refrigerant absorbs heat from the cold water, causing its temperature to drop. The evaporated refrigerant will re-enter the compressor and be compressed again, and this cycle will continue to cool the cold water.

It is worth noting that the heat absorbed by the refrigerant during the evaporation process will directly affect the cooling effect of the cold water. Therefore, in the actual application process, different refrigerants need to be selected according to different needs, and the flow and temperature of the refrigerant should be reasonably controlled to achieve the best refrigeration effect.
