The cooling water pump then delivers the cooled water to the refrigeration unit through the cooling water pipe. In the refrigeration unit, the chilled water pump draws the cooled water from the main unit and enters the evaporator through the expansion valve. In the evaporator, the chilled water exchanges heat with the refrigerant, causing the refrigerant to change from liquid to gas and absorb a large amount of heat. Finally, the gaseous refrigerant is compressed by the compressor, releasing heat, and becomes liquid again. The heat absorbed by the chilled water in the evaporator is taken out of the system, achieving the purpose of cooling.
