A closed recirculating cooling system is a machine used for low-temperature refrigeration. It uses static refrigeration to achieve cooling effect by circulating refrigerant. Closed recirculating cooling systems are often used in industrial fields such as laboratories, pharmaceutical factories, and food processing plants. Single-stage, double-stage, three-stage or even four-stage refrigeration can be selected according to actual needs. Different refrigeration levels can meet different cooling needs. The operation of the closed recirculating cooling system is composed of three interrelated systems: the refrigerant circulation system, the water circulation system, and the electrical automatic control system.
1. Refrigerant circulation system:
The liquid refrigerant in the evaporator in the refrigerant cycle system absorbs the heat in the water and begins to evaporate. Eventually, a certain temperature difference is formed between the refrigerant and the water. The liquid refrigerant also completely evaporates into a gas state and is sucked into the compressor and compressed (pressure and temperature increase), the gaseous refrigerant absorbs heat through the condenser (air-cooled/water-cooled), condenses into a liquid, and becomes low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant after being throttled by the thermal expansion valve (or capillary tube) and enters the evaporator to complete the refrigerant cycle process .
2. Water circulation system:
The liquid refrigerant in the evaporator absorbs the heat of the object being cooled and vaporizes into low-pressure, low-temperature steam. The object being cooled in a chiller is water. When the refrigerator is running, turn on the cold water pump, and water will continuously circulate between the water tank and the evaporator to reduce the water temperature to the set temperature.
The water circulation system pump is responsible for pumping water from the water tank to the equipment that the user needs to cool. The chilled water takes away the heat and the temperature rises, and then returns to the chilled water tank.
3. Electrical automatic control system:
The electrical automatic control system includes the power supply part and the automatic control part. The power supply part supplies power to compressors, fans, water pumps, etc. through contactors. The automatic control part includes a thermostat, pressure protection, delayer, relay, overload protection, etc. that are combined to achieve functions such as automatic start and stop protection based on water temperature.
