Can the 2 ton chiller be cleaned without shutdown?
Any mechanical equipment shall be cleaned after running for a period of time to ensure normal and efficient operation in the later period; The LC -25°C ~ -5°C Low Temperature Chillers in the refrigeration equipment also needs to be cleaned.
The chemical cleaning steps for the low-temperature chiller without turning off the power are: mud stripping cleaning → neutral oil and rust removal cleaning → salt dehydration replacement.
The purpose of slime stripping cleaning is to use sterilization to destroy the structure of microbial cells, proteins or enzymes, thereby achieving the goal of killing microorganisms.
At the same time, auxiliary agents such as stripping agents and dispersants are used to strip microorganisms from various parts of the chiller, disperse them in the cleaning agent solution, and take them out of the cleaning system to achieve the effect of sterilization and sterilization, in order to create conditions for further chemical cleaning.
1. Add additives. Fungicides, stripping agents, surfactants, defoamers.
2. Process control.
Turbidity analysis; Before cleaning, take a bottle of water sample in advance and keep it as a comparison with the water sample during the glass process. During the stripping process, take a sample every 3 hours and compare it with the blank.
If the turbidity value of the water sample increases, until after the 10th time, the turbidity is basically balanced, and the surface mud stripping is basically completed, indicating that the ice water unit has been cleaned.
The continuous cleaning of the chilled water system is also a type of circulating cleaning. It uses the water pump in the chilled water circulating system as the circulating pump for cleaning, but it uses the expansion tank or external liquid tank for cleaning.
When using the expansion tank, the cleaning agent can be added to the expansion tank, and then the chilled water is discharged from the drain outlet of the system to form a negative pressure in the system, so that the cleaning agent in the expansion tank can be sucked into the system.
When using an external liquid distribution tank, it is generally chosen to shut down for a short period of time when the temperature is low at night. The liquid distribution pipe is connected to the inlet of the chilled water circulating water pump, and the cleaning agent is directly added to the liquid distribution tank.
In the cleaning of the chilled water system, it is necessary to replace some chilled water or the chilled water needs to flow through an external distribution tank, which will affect the cooling insulation and increase the load of the chiller, but the impact is not significant.
After stopping the machine, you can use cleaning tools to clean the surface of the unit. After it is dry, cover the unit with a cloth or smock to prevent dust and other debris from adhering to the unit, ensuring that it will still be a clean water chiller for use next year.
By doing the above work when the unit is shut down, problems with the chiller can be identified and eliminated in a timely manner, ensuring stable unit performance and facilitating safe and rapid operation in the coming year. Another benefit is that the service life of the unit will be longer.
