Compressed Air Chiller
The condenser of the compressed air chiller is blown by a fan to dissipate heat. There are five main reasons for high-voltage failures:
1. The condenser of the compressed air chiller is blocked: if the condenser is blocked, it will cause abnormal condensation of high-pressure refrigerant gas in the refrigerant system, causing a large amount of gas to coalesce, resulting in high-voltage failure.
Solution: Clean and remove dirt from the condenser. Please consult the manufacturer for specific methods.
2. Too much refrigerant in the compressed air chiller: Too much refrigerant cannot be condensed into a liquid state, occupying too much area of the condensing pipe, reducing the condensation effect, and increasing the pressure.
Solution: Slowly release some refrigerant on the low pressure side.
3. The opening of the expansion valve of the compressed air chiller is too small: the expansion valve is used to throttle the high-pressure liquid refrigerant into a gaseous state. If the opening is too small, the pressure of the front condenser will be too high.
Solution: Properly increase the opening of the expansion valve.
4. There is air in the compressed air chiller system: This kind of reason often occurs after new equipment or compressor maintenance, and air is mixed into the refrigeration system, so that the air cannot be condensed and remains in the condenser, causing the pressure to rise.
Solution: bleed air through the air separation valve, exhaust port or condenser of the chiller, and consult the chiller manufacturer.
5. Abnormal operation of the condenser fan: This will lead to poor heat dissipation of the condenser, that is, the heat generated inside the refrigeration refrigerant cycle cannot be removed by the fan fan, and then the temperature and pressure will rise, and a high pressure alarm will appear.
Solution: Check and repair the fan, remove the dust and sundries around the fan cover, and clean it with compressed air or water gun after shutdown.
