What are the steps for replacing lubricating oil for a 10 ton chiller?
1. Stop device operation
When changing the lubricating oil, first stop running the Refrigeradores de baja temperatura LC -25°C ~ -5°C and wait for more than 10 minutes for the lubricating oil inside the equipment to cool down. After waiting for some time, remove the original lubricating oil, and then wait for a few minutes to restore it for operation.
2. Choose a better lubricating oil for filling
When replacing lubricating oil, it is necessary to consider the production quality of the lubricating oil. After replacing with better lubricating oil, the wear of internal components can be reduced. The better the condition of internal components, the lower the failure rate of the chiller, and the chiller will not produce noise.
In summary, a normally used chiller with a shorter lifespan does not need to be replaced with lubricating oil. When high noise is generated during the operation of the equipment, it indicates that there may be a malfunction in the equipment. Replacing the lubricating oil of the chiller can extend the service life of the internal components and make the chiller last longer.
Due to the possible presence of a certain amount of residual oil in the original system, it is recommended to add less oil during oil change and refueling. Generally, it can be added to a slightly higher position than the lower limit of the sight glass marking;
After the refrigeration oil filling of the chiller compressor is completed, tighten the process plunger or remove the fluorine filling pipe, and connect the fluorine pressure gauge to vacuum the compressor;
After vacuuming the chiller compressor, open the high and low pressure shut-off valves of the compressor to check for refrigerant leakage; If there are no leaks, wait for 20 minutes before starting the chiller;
After starting the chiller compressor, immediately check the lubrication condition of the compressor and the oil level of the sight glass.
If the oil level of the chiller compressor is below the normal range (1/4 sight glass), it is necessary to replenish the refrigerant oil.
If necessary, an oil pressure gauge can be connected to the oil pump needle valve to check the oil pressure of the chiller compressor. The suction side pressure of the oil pump should be basically consistent with the low-pressure suction pressure.
Short circuit the high and low voltage differential switch (it is best not to adjust the pressure differential switch, two wires can be directly short circuited), and close the angle valve when the machine is running at full load (100%).
When the low-pressure pressure of the chiller is less than 0.1MP, press the emergency switch or turn off the power.
Due to the one-way valve at the compressor exhaust port, refrigerant will not return to the compressor. However, sometimes the one-way valve may not be tightly closed, so it is best to close the compressor exhaust shut-off valve while pressing the emergency switch.
Drain the oil, and the refrigerant oil will spray out quickly under the pressure of the refrigerant gas in the system. Pay attention to hygiene and avoid splashing outside. While draining the oil, discharge the refrigerant and open the high pressure gauge shut-off valve.
