How does glycol chiller liquid works?
glycol chiller liquid is a device that cools through a refrigeration cycle. Its working principle is basically the same as that of a general water chiller. It mainly includes three processes: refrigerant cycle, evaporation cycle and compression cycle.
Refrigerant cycle
Refrigerant circulation is the core process of the ethylene glycol chiller. In the refrigeration cycle, ethylene glycol acts as a refrigerant and vaporizes to absorb heat at low temperatures and pressures. Condensation, decompression and heat release under high temperature and high pressure, thereby achieving the refrigeration effect.
Evaporation cycle
The evaporation cycle means that in the outdoor unit of the chiller, the refrigerant enters the condenser from the compressor outlet, pumps the heat of the cooling water, and increases the temperature and pressure of the refrigerant. When the refrigerant flows into the cooler through the expansion valve, the temperature and pressure of the refrigerant decrease and partial vaporization occurs, thereby absorbing the heat provided to the cooling water, thereby reducing the temperature of the cooling water.
Compression cycle
The compression cycle is the process of compressing refrigerant from low-level to high-level. The pressure of the refrigerant in the evaporation cycle is very low. When the working pressure of the compressor is increased, the temperature of the refrigerant also increases accordingly. In this way, the refrigerant can be condensed in the condenser. Since the temperature of the refrigerant after compression is relatively high, the air enters the low-pressure drainer, dissipating the heat of the water and increasing the refrigerant effect of the refrigerant.
