Selection points of air cooled scroll chiller
1. The main control parameters of air cooled scroll chiller are cooling coefficient of performance, rated cooling capacity, input power and refrigerant type, etc.
2. The selection of air cooled scroll chiller should be considered according to the cooling load and application.
3. When selecting chillers, give priority to units with higher performance coefficients. According to statistics, the running time of general chillers under 100% load accounts for less than 1/4 of the total running time throughout the year. The operating time ratios of 100%, 75%, 50%, and 25% loads in the total operating time are roughly 2.3%, 41.5%, 46.1%, and 10.1%. Therefore, when selecting an air cooled scroll chiller, priority should be given to models with a relatively flat efficiency curve. At the same time, the adjustment range of the chiller load should be considered when designing and selecting.
4. When choosing an air cooled scroll chiller, attention should be paid to the conditions of nominal working conditions. The actual cooling capacity of the chiller is related to the following factors:
a) Outlet temperature and flow rate of cold water;
b) Inlet temperature, flow rate and fouling coefficient of cooling water.
5. When choosing an air cooled scroll chiller, attention should be paid to the normal operating range of this type of unit, mainly because the current limit of the main motor is the current value of the shaft power under the nominal working condition.
Installation points of air cooled scroll chiller
1. The installation of air cooled scroll chiller should consider vibration isolation and noise reduction measures. When installed outdoors, electrical control equipment and control cabinets should be placed indoors. The installation position of the control cabinet should be able to effectively avoid moisture or even condensation inside the cabinet.
2. The concrete foundation of the air cooled scroll chiller should be flat. When installing on the shock absorber, the pre-compression of each shock absorber should be uniform, and the deviation should be less than 2mm.
3. The pipes connecting the chiller should be equipped with flexible joints, and the weight of the system pipes should not be supported by the chiller.
4. The hoisting of the air cooled scroll chiller should use the hoisting point of the equipment, and it is forbidden to tie the lifting rope on the equipment at will.
