How to solve the low-pressure fault of the water cooled chiller?

1. Debris blockage:

Because the refrigeration system has strict requirements in all aspects of production and manufacturing, it is necessary to ensure the cleanliness of each step. However, most LC -25°C ~ -5°C 저온 냉각기 manufacturers purchase parts and assemble them. This will inevitably lead to some impure systems.

In severe cases, the system may block. Therefore, manufacturers of chillers have installed “filters” in the refrigeration system to filter out impurities in the system. When impurities accumulate to a certain extent in the refrigeration system pipeline, the filter will become blocked, affecting the flow rate of refrigerant in the system, and in severe cases, low-pressure faults may occur.

Identification: If the filter is blocked due to a dirty system, it will only lead to a decrease in the cooling capacity of the equipment, and even you will not be affected. When the “filter” is slightly blocked, there is a temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the “filter”, which can be felt by hand. In severe cases, the filter may experience condensation or frost formation. If encountering filter condensation or frost.

Treatment: Replace the filter with the same model.

2. Ice cubes:

Ice blockage is mainly due to the presence of moisture in the system pipeline. The water in the system flows to the throttle valve (expansion valve) after being throttled and expanded by the refrigerant, forming a low temperature and pressure at the outlet of the throttle valve. When the evaporation temperature (expansion valve) is below the freezing point, the water in the refrigerant will form ice blocks here, thereby preventing the throttle valve (expansion valve) from forming a low-pressure fault. Ice blockage occurs at the outlet of the throttle valve (expansion valve).

Treatment method: First, use a detachable filter with “calcium chloride” (strong absorbent material) to thoroughly filter the water in the system, and replace it with a disposable filter of the same model.

3. Electromagnetic valve:

Electromagnetic valves are indispensable accessories in refrigeration systems. It has the function of protecting system security. When the solenoid valve is damaged, the refrigerant circulation is blocked, causing a low-pressure fault. At present, most manufacturers have omitted solenoid valves in order to reduce costs, but this also leaves hidden dangers for the equipment.

Identification: The electromagnetic valve is better judged, and there are two situations where the electromagnetic valve is damaged:

The solenoid valve coil is burnt out and the hair film cannot be opened. The solenoid valve coil can be measured with a multimeter to determine whether the solenoid valve is burned out;

The electromagnetic valve body itself is damaged, causing the valve inner lining to fail to open. When there is a temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the solenoid valve, it indicates that the solenoid valve is faulty.
