How to Solve the Pump Noise of Industrial Chillers?
When the industrial chiller is running, it is normal for the water pump to make a sound, which is a kind of physical noise. The source of the noise is mainly because the water pump and the motor are working. When the water pump noise occurs, it may be continuous. It can also be intermittent or irregular noise. Sometimes, this noise affects production and life, so how to effectively solve this noise?
The pump noise of industrial chillers is low-frequency noise. The characteristic of this type of noise is that the sound wave is relatively long, so the attenuation speed is relatively slow, and the diffraction wave of the noise can easily bypass obstacles.
So how to reduce this kind of noise? A more effective way is to install shock absorbers, or install shock-proof materials, and elastic cushions can be installed at the water inlet pipes.
As for the specific operation, we can start with air sound, equipment vibration and pipeline vibration:
1. Use a vibration isolator and set up a layer of vibration isolation in the water pump system. When the water pump vibrates obviously during the operation of the industrial chiller, you can choose a gas-liquid suspension shock absorber, which has a better shock absorption effect. Noise can be reduced by damping.
2. Sound insulation can be carried out on the air sound of industrial chillers. This method is also a common method to solve noise. The air noise of general industrial chillers is lower than 85dB(A). If the noise requirements are relatively low, it can be used for Special treatment for sound insulation, such as adding sound insulation covers, adding sound absorption, etc.
3. The pipeline of the industrial chiller is connected to the wall. When the equipment is running, the pipeline will vibrate to a certain extent. The energy generated during the vibration will be transmitted through the wall, so the pipeline needs to be treated.
