The plastic injection chiller is a device used to cool the injection molding machine mold during the injection molding process. It controls the mold temperature by circulating cooling water to ensure the quality and stability of plastic materials during the injection molding process.

Components of plastic injection chiller

Plastic injection chiller is mainly composed of compressor, condenser, expansion valve, evaporator, water pump, water tank and control system.

1. Compressor: Plastic injection chiller uses a compressor to compress low-temperature and low-pressure steam gas into high-temperature and high-pressure gas.

2. Condenser: The condenser is a device that cools the high-temperature and high-pressure gas discharged from the compressor into a high-pressure liquid. Condensers are usually air-cooled or water-cooled.

3. Expansion valve: The expansion valve is used to control the flow of high-pressure liquid to a low-pressure area so that it expands into a low-temperature and low-pressure liquid.

4. Evaporator: The evaporator transfers low-temperature and low-pressure liquid to the heat in the injection molding machine mold through the principle of heat exchange, so that it evaporates into low-temperature and low-pressure steam.

5. Water pump: The water pump is used to extract cooling water from the water tank and circulate it to the injection molding machine mold to achieve cooling of the mold.

6. Water tank: The water tank is used to store cooling water and supply cooling water to the injection molding machine mold through a water pump.

7. Control system: The control system is used to monitor and control the operating status of the injection molding machine chiller, including temperature, pressure, flow and other parameters.
