What is the solution to the leakage of air cooled water chiller?
The water inlet and outlet of the LC -25°C ~ -5°C Refrigeradores de baixa temperatura are leaking. Generally, the bolts at the connection are loose or cracked, so the water leakage can be repaired or replaced;
If the evaporator shell of the chiller leaks water, check whether there is water seepage at the welding point of the evaporator shell. If there is, weld and repair it as soon as possible;
The float valve of the chiller leaks. The float valve controls the opening and closing of the inlet valve according to the buoyancy. The solution is to check and adjust the position of the ball valve. If it is damaged, it should be replaced and repaired in time.
The internal condenser of the chiller leaks through perforation. The solution is to find the fault point and repair it;
The water leakage occurs due to the fluctuation of cooling water during operation due to too full water injection in the water tank of the chiller. The solution is to reduce the water level in the water tank;
The water tank of the chiller leaks, which may be caused by corrosion at the welding position of the water tank, and needs to be welded again for maintenance;
1. What are the characteristics of air-cooled chillers?
Compared with water-cooled chillers, air-cooled chillers use finned condensers, which directly use the fan to force the air flow to take away the refrigerant heat, without other auxiliary equipment, eliminating the cooling tower, cooling water pump and cooling pipe system.
It has certain advantages in installation, especially for small water chillers with small requirements on refrigeration capacity, which are convenient to move.
Due to different heat transfer temperature differences, under the same outdoor environmental conditions, the condensation temperature of the air-cooled chiller is higher than that of the water-cooled chiller, so the power consumption of the air-cooled chiller will be higher under the same refrigeration capacity.
In terms of energy efficiency, the refrigeration capacity of water-cooled units is generally 300~500 Kcal/h higher than that of air-cooled units.
The air-cooled chiller avoids the problems of condenser scaling and water pipe blockage in areas with poor water quality, and saves water resources. However, the heat transfer efficiency of the finned condenser used is greatly affected by the accumulation of ash scale. The dust filter grid must be set in front of the radiating finned tube, and it needs to be cleaned regularly.
2. What is the working principle of air-cooled chiller?
During operation, the refrigerant absorbs the heat of the object to be cooled (such as cooling water) in the evaporator and vaporizes. The compressor continuously extracts the generated gas from the evaporator and compresses it into high-temperature and high-pressure steam.
The refrigerant steam is sent to the condenser for heat exchange with the air. After heat release, it condenses into liquid. After depressurization by the throttling mechanism, it enters the evaporator and vaporizes again to absorb the heat of the object to be cooled, This cycle repeats itself.
