Temperature Control for Glass Lined Reactor

The temperature control system of glass lined reactor has important applications in chemical synthesis, pharmaceuticals, materials science and other fields. It ensures the safety of the reaction process and the quality of the product. Such systems usually include the following key components and technologies:

1. Heating device:

Electric heating jacket: suitable for single-layer glass reactor, fast heating speed, precise temperature control, but may be unevenly heated in larger reactors.

High temperature circulating oil bath: suitable for single-layer and double-layer glass reactors, uniform heating, suitable for large reactors, but slow heating speed, need to replace the heat transfer oil regularly.

Circulating heating system: use circulating medium (such as oil or water) to flow in the interlayer of the double-layer glass reactor to achieve efficient and uniform temperature control.

2. Cooling device:

Refrigeration and heating cycle machine: combined with heating and cooling functions, suitable for experiments requiring rapid temperature changes.

Closed low-temperature circulation pump: used for reaction processes requiring low-temperature environment.

3. Temperature control method:

Position control: simple and reliable, suitable for basic temperature control needs.

Cascade control: By adding additional sensors and control loops, the power is adjusted in advance to maintain a more stable temperature.

Proportional integral derivative (PID) control: By dynamically adjusting the heating power, high-precision temperature control is achieved.
